This is my 224th post.
This is the day, one year ago, that I started my blog and made my first post.

I want to thank all those who have commented and encouraged me, thanks to all the other bloggers I have visited who have inspired me, encouraged me and made me laugh. Thanks for those who have sent me things, whose give aways I have won, who have mentioned me on their blogs. It means alot to me.
In celebration of my one year blogversary I have put together a little crafty giveaway, containing a patchwork house pincushion made especially for the occasion, buttons, vintage sewing notions, cotton, fabric and a little bit of this and a little bit of that...

To enter, just leave a comment on this post and tell me roughly how old your blog is.
Are you new to blogging? Have you been blogging for many years?
Or if you don't have a blog, tell me if you prefer emails, or letters in the post?
Convenience, verses the tactile nature of opening and reading mail?
For extra entries you know the drill! Follow me or blog about this and come back and comment again, so I am sure to count all your entries.

This giveaway is open until the 30th of September, as that is a special persons birthday, so even more reason to celebrate.

Open to national and international commenter's.
Congrats!! I recently had my One Year Bloggerversary too! I love you blog and you should be very proud of what you have achieved over the last year!
ReplyDeleteIn regards to mail, i love mail in the post - so much i joined this site called Postcrossing where you send off a postcard and then someone, somewhere else in the word send one back to you... i loved coming home and having a random postcard from someone in the Netherlands - or germany waiting in my letterbox!
Congratulations on one year! The little pin cushion is so cute! I couldn't remember how long i'd been blogging, I had to go look. It's been a year and a half now, sometimes it seems like so much longer than that.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 1 year "blog-verasry" Christina! Mine is about 8 mths old...am loving blog ville! Although i do love REAL mail, I just don't ever get much of it!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy following your posts!

Here's hoping that yournext 200 posts are as fantastic as the last.
Happy Blogoversary Christina! Wow 224 posts is great. I achieved 100 posts on my one year anniversary and I've been blogging now for 21 months and still aren't even close to you. Blogging has become part of my life, it's an addiction!
ReplyDeleteI love snail mail, it's very personal, oh apart from bills, I hate those.
I've been following you for some time now and I love to see snaps of SE Qld, my old stomping grounds.
I'll add a comment to my next post about your blogoversary!
Hugs
Jo
Wow! So may posts in just 1 year. I have been blogging for a year and 9 months and only have 112 posts. I love typing posts as opposed to emails. Just a quirk of my nature.
ReplyDeleteOoo, happy Bloggy Birthday!
ReplyDeleteI think my blog is over 4 years old now..sniff sniff, they grow up so fast ;)
I'm not quite as ambitious as I was for the first few years. Back then I was SO excited about blogging, I would think about it all the time. EVERYTHING was bloggable, my boyfriend had to be very careful what he said, hehehe.
Anyway, cheer's to your first year! May you enjoy many more :)
p.s. I actually wanted to stop by and thank you for your wedding ring advice last week. It was SO good to get a "professional" opinion.
Yay, Happy 1st Bday! I love your blog and enjoy stopping by!

ReplyDeleteMy little blog is all of 5 months old (nearly). I'm still getting used to the idea that someone out there might be interested in what I have to say LOL!
I have to say I love getting things from the postman. I think I have developed an online shopping habit to facilitate my need to say hello to the postie on a regular basis...
Emails. I'm all about the convenience.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!
ReplyDeleteMy blog is about four and half months old - this whole new journey/experience is a learning curve for me - a very enjoyable one.
I like receiving things in the post, but sometimes I don't like reaching into the letter box because there are snails in there. Eeewww.
I've been blogging for almost 3 years, although for a while I was very slack about posting.
