"A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2013." Che and Fidel.
Cohen: Buried in the sand by Dada and loving it. "Let's do it again!"
Emerson: Our little sand eater. She can not be deterred.
For Dave's last day off work we went to the beach. It was cool and windy, the sky full of clouds. I kept thinking we should have brought the kite. There were sprinklings of rain as we made our way to the surf club for lunch. The next day it was business as usual, and the sun came out.

Sending much love and thoughts for a speedy recovery to you, Christina.
ReplyDeleteLove that little fist full of sand.
That was my boy all the way.
A day by the sea! How precious. It's so nice to meet you.
ReplyDeleteGetting buried up to your chin in the sand is an Aussie child's right of passage! Gorgeous photos :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't the lat day of holidays so sad? Tomorrow Casper goes back to daycare and I feel a little pang of nostalgia for the summer laziness. What little sand monkeys your kids are, I love the one of Cohen being buried, that's one of the coolest things that can happen to you at the beach!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!
ReplyDeleteThinking of you.

I love both of those photos...such a lovely smile, and we had a sand eater too!
ReplyDeleteI will be thinking of you tomorrow...best of luck!
Hi Christina! After not being around much for a week, I am shocked at what can happen in a little bit of time. I'll be praying for the success of your operation today...it's after midnight...and a speedy recovery. All the best with everything!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots Christina. Each of ours have loved being buried in the sand and Tegan, for whatever her reasons loved to eat sand too and insects for that matter.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well with your surgery today, praying that you have a swift recovery.
